October 31, 2016 thru November 13,2016

Theft – On October 31, 2016 at 3:07pm, Patrolman Dennis Allen responded to a residence on Locker Street for a theft report.  The resident reported that their Dallas Cowboys mailbox was stolen sometime after 3:00pm on October 30th.

 

Criminal Mischief – On November 02, 2016 at 5:00am, Patrolman Chad Anthony responded to an address on the 1000 block of Anchor Avenue for damage to a vehicle.  The resident reported to officers that sometime during the overnight hours someone flattened two tires on a vehicle.

 

Theft – On November 02, 2016 at 5:34pm, Patrolman David Bowden was dispatched to a residence on the 1100 block of Mizzen Avenue for a theft report.  The resident reported that $2800.00 in cash was missing and is believed to have been taken by a landlord or another tenant.  There were no reported signs of any forced entry to the home.  Detective Allen Magory has been assigned to follow up.

 

Burglary – On November 04, 2016 at 9:49am, Patrolman Sean Langan was dispatched to a residence on the 200 block of Windward Avenue for a theft report.  The resident advised officers that they were missing jewelry from the residence and believe that someone related to them had entered their home and stole the jewelry.  There was no forced entry to the residence and the investigation is being followed up by Detective Magory.

 

Criminal Mischief – On November 06, 2016 at 8:47am, Patrolman William Manganiello responded to a residence on the 400 block of Ship Avenue for damage to a mailbox.  Upon the officers arrival the resident advised that their mailbox was damaged and knocked off its post.

 

Criminal Mischief – On November 07, 2016 at 9:28am, Patrolman Dennis Allen responded to a residence on the 100 block of Mermaid Avenue for a report of a mailbox damaged.  The resident advised that sometime during the overnight hours someone damaged their mailbox and knocked it off the post.

 

Theft – On November 07, 2016 at 3:34pm, Patrolman Dennis Allen took a report from a resident on Oak Street for the theft of a mailbox.  The caller stated that sometime overnight someone had removed their mailbox from the post.

 

Theft – On November 11, 2016 at 1:49pm, Patrolman William Manganiello was dispatched to a residence on the 1500 block of Windward Ave. for a theft report.  Upon his arrival the resident stated that a package was left out for FedEx and they were advised by FedEx that when the driver arrived for pick up, the package was not there.

 

Theft – On November 13, 2016 at 6:52pm, Patrolman Meissner and Officer Bruno were dispatched to the area of the 1100 block of Windward Avenue for a theft of a cell phone from an individual and the actor may have displayed a handgun.  Officers checked the area and were unable to locate the parties involved and were then advised that the victim had followed a vehicle into South Toms River and that South Toms River PD had stopped a vehicle which may have been involved.  Beachwood Police officers then responded to that location to continue the investigation. The cell phone was not located nor was a handgun located.  The initial investigation revealed that the parties involved all had knowledge of each other.  The investigation is being followed up by Detective Magory.
