February 17, 2016 thru March 02, 2016

Trespassing – On February 18, 2016 at 1:44pm, Patrolman Justin Apel was dispatched to the Rite Aid on Atlantic City Boulevard for a trespassing complaint.  The officer was advised by the manager that a subject who was previously advised by store personnel not to return to the store was back in the store on February 18.

Warrant Arrest – On February 19, 2016 at 10:22pm, Patrolman Chad Anthony conducted a motor vehicle stop on a vehicle in the area of Route 9 and Neptune Avenue.  As a result the driver, Adam Thomas, 33 of Toms River was arrested on an outstanding warrant from Seaside Heights.  The subject posted bail at Beachwood Police Headquarters and was released.

Fire Call – On February 19, 2016 at 8:02am, Patrolman Justin Apel responded to a residence on the 400 block of Spar Avenue for a flooded basement.  The officer was met by the homeowner who advised that the house was unoccupied but that a pipe had broken in the residence which caused the basement to flood.  The Beachwood Volunteer Fire Department responded and were able to assist the residents by pumping out the basement.

Warrant Arrest – On February 21, 2016 at 5:33pm, Officer Gina Bruno was dispatched to 95 Atlantic City Boulevard for a suspicious female.  Upon the officers arrival, a female was observed matching the description supplied by dispatch.  As the officer spoke to the female it was learned that the female had an outstanding warrant from Tinton Falls.  As a result, Officer Bruno arrested Ashlie Davis, 26 of Beachwood on the outstanding warrant.  The subject was processed at Beachwood Police Headquarters and turned over to Tinton Falls Police.

Missing Persons – On February 22, 2016,  Officers Prince and Meissner handle two separate incidents involving missing persons.  The incidents were unrelated and were generated after family members could not get in contact with the individuals.  As a result of follow up by the officers both individuals were safely located and put in contact with family members.

Warrant Arrest – On February 24, 2016 at 11:36 am, Patrolman Schena arrested a subject who was originally stopped by the NJ State Police on the parkway for motor vehicle violations.  As a result of the motor vehicle stop it was learned that Luis Angel Gonzalez, 33 of Beachwood had an outstanding warrant from Beachwood.  The subject could not post bail and was transported and lodged in the Ocean County Jail.

Motor Vehicle Accident – During the time period from February 17, 2016 to March 02, 2016 the Beachwood Police Department responded to eight(8) motor vehicle accidents at various locations.
