With Halloween approaching, parents can take some simple precautionary steps to help ensure the safety of their children while trick or treating.

Costumes

  • Make sure costumes are flame retardant.
  • Keep costumes short enough to prevent tripping.
  • Try to purchase a mask that fits properly and does not obstruct the child’s line of sight.  A mask can obstruct a child’s vision.  Consider using make up instead of a mask.

Beachwood Memorial Day Parade

Monday May 25, 2015

Parade starts at 11:00am at the Beachwood Fire House on Beachwood Blvd.

 

**Residents are asked to please avoid driving on Beachwood Blvd. between 10:00 and 12:00 due to the parade** Please use an alternate route for driving.

Immediately following the parade and memorial service the Beachwood Recreation Commission will host its annual River Fest at Mayo Park from 11-3pm.
