As a result of the Emergency Meeting of the Beachwood Mayor and Council held March 14,2020 in conjunction with Beachwood Emergency Management, Beachwood Emergency Services and the Borough Police Department to review both President Trump and Governor Murphy’s Declarations of a Medical State of Emergency due to the Covid-19 Pandemic the following actions are to be immediately implemented:

Public Notice – Gas Main Construction

On or about 3/23/2020 New Jersey Natural Gas’ contractor will mobilize to renew gas main on Route 9 in Beachwood. This long-term construction will occur from 7 pm – 6 am and services will not be affected. Please be mindful of work zones which may require lane shifts and occasional alternating traffic. Beachwood Police Department would like to advise all residents in the area of the fireworks display at the Beachwood Beach that the following parking restrictions will be in effect on July 4, 2016.  Please see the parking map for further details.  Parking restrictions will go into effect at 8:00am on July 4, 2016 and will be enforced as of 12:00pm July 4, 2016.

With Halloween approaching, parents can take some simple precautionary steps to help ensure the safety of their children while trick or treating.

  • Keep costumes short enough to prevent tripping.

Beachwood Memorial Day Parade

Monday May 25, 2015

Parade starts at 11:00am at the Beachwood Fire House on Beachwood Blvd.

 

**Residents are asked to please avoid driving on Beachwood Blvd. between 10:00 and 12:00 due to the parade** Please use an alternate route for driving.

Immediately following the parade and memorial service the Beachwood Recreation Commission will host its annual River Fest at Mayo Park from 11-3pm.
